Operation Underwear: Status = failure

No go. Spiderman underwear and Lightning McQueen underwear were not enough to get J* on the potty. Two wet accidents didn't help. Bribing with tattoos, glow sticks, and other "presents" didn't cut it. Putting him on the potty every hour didn't help. And the finale of poop in the underwear with the announcement of its arrival seconds afterwards was enough for me. He isn't ready. Its ok, it was worth the try and now we know. He's only 2yr 7mths, so we'll let it alone and try again in a month.

At least he looked damn cute in his big boy underwear!

Look at him in his big boy underwear!

Sorry that it didn't work out this time...hopefully in the near future, he will be ready to poop on the potty!

Oh my look at that Spiderman tooshie...too cute!

Potty training is probably the hardest job so far as a parent. Brooke has been somewhat potty trained(wears underwear all day but pull-up at night) since she was 2 and we still have pee accidents on occasion. Hopefully he'll catch on soon.

Just keep trying, that is what we did and finally she just started doing it. My little daycare girl is 2 yrs 7 months and she just got it after us trying every month for the last 3 months. So he will get it, just keep talking about it, asking him if he wants to go! I agree with Jenn, it is one of the hardest things to do!

BUT he does have the cutest little spiderman bottom! Toddlers in underwear is just the cutest!

Forget training! Too much hassle. Go the lazy Mommy route: Wait until J is 3 years, 7 months, put new Spiderman undies on and announce "It's National No More Diaper Day!" Have a cake to celebrate the big event.

Cold turkey, baby, and not once accident since (3 weeks)!

Bittyman's undies of choice are his 'Go Diegos'.
